Im so sorry Sal Mon I didnt think I would get a faster time that quick.
Also for anyone wondering why the quality of the game looks better, its because I got a message from Beetzero telling me to not run the game over 3ds virtual console anymore and to use computer emulation. I was going to wait until my nes controller comes in so that the transition from 3ds to keyboard wouldn't halt progress but then Sal Mon posted his 2:42 run and I was spooked into practicing the game a bit before real attempts.
This run was interesting. I lost time on start apparently but I think that was because I split late. I know that a better run is possible because in the recording that this clip comes from, I had a Margit run with over 5 seconds saved, and some absolutely god tier Godrick luck; that I then goofed up because Im still getting use to the controls. Something tells me that this run is about to get very, very interesting.
