Filippo Gaetani illustrates a particular custom built piece of gear he uses at Tic Studio for mixing. The 3-Split was built by Christian Seitz in 1997 for Le Bozze Recording Studio. It allows to connect three stereo analog compressors and control the sound with band splitting crossovers and level for spectral balance, creating a unique analog and punchy sound character. A full analog multiband compression system. Music samples courtesy of Madishu and Q-bizm.
"Let The Rain Fall" performed by Madishu, produced by Vladyslav Hrykoriev, "3131" performed by Q-bizm. Get in touch to know more: [email protected], www.filippogaetani.com.
