Created in 2014 in the Netherlands as a school project of young and ambitious students, Clan de Banlieue has gone from a local craft brand to one of the more prominent names on the global streetwear scene at breakneck speed. When Sinan Karaca, Levie Merckens and Richard Lopes started working on their collection, they could not have imagined that only a few years later Banlieue would grow into a brand that the urban population recognizes and gladly wears.
