Presque Isle State Park - Bike Trail
On September 1st I had the opportunity to ride the bike trail on Preseque Isle State Park and Moraine State Park in the same day.
The Karl Boyes Multi-Purpose Trail and extension makes a 13.5-mile circuit in the park.
It is designated as a National Recreation Trail.
The paved trail is an ADA-accessible trail that is popular with bicyclists, in-line skaters, and joggers.
The trail was renamed in 2003 for the late State Representative Karl Boyes. Without his vision and tireless efforts, the trail would not exist.
