Bealtaine festival: Wandering Methods art project 2013 (Shortened Version)
Wandering Methods is a craft project that takes its time. From March until the end of April 2013 artists Maeve Clancy and Liz Nilson worked with a group of local older people in Rathfarnham Castle on producing, on an incremental basis, artwork that was exhibited in May during the Bealtaine festival.
It was the second year of Wandering Methods, a partnership between Bealtaine and CraftSpace in association with the Office of Public Works.
Bealtaine, the national festival celebrating creativity as we age, is coordinated by Age & Opportunity and is supported by the Arts Council. The festival includes all art forms and is organised locally by Arts Centres, older peoples groups, local authorities and national cultural institutions.
