Gun Control for Dummies Part II - It's common sense

I discuss the need for a change in the discussion about firearms. Guns don't get up and kill people, people make that choice. By disarming the population, we are only making ourselves better victims. Look at the City of Chicago for example and compare them with Houston, TX. Chicago has twice the number of police officers as Houston; but they also have twice the number of homicides. Why is that? More police seems to be the answer by the Gun grabbers.... Which makes no sense, they want to take guns away but have more guns on the street. Why not allow the citizens to arm themselves and then they can respond quickly to any attacks in the time that it takes for the police to arrive? The hypocrisy of a newspaper publishing an article with a map of where gun permit holders in New York live; and then they go out and hire armed guards when they feel threatened after someone posts their personal information online. The message? Firearms are only the solution when you are making the rules. Hmmm...
