Ezekiel Elliott reacted to a six-amusement suspension collected upon him by the NFL Friday in a tweet late Friday evening.
In the tweet, which contained a screenshot of a note with no going with , Elliott perceived and apologized for the diversion his off-field conduct has caused.
"I am both astonished and frustrated by the NFL's choice today, and I emphatically can't help contradicting the League's discoveries," the announcement read.
"I perceive the diversion and disturbance that the greater part of this has caused my family, companions, colleagues, the Dallas Cowboys association and in addition my fans - for that I am earnestly sad."
"I concede that I am a long way from culminate, yet I intend to keep on working hard, on and off the field, to develop and procure the considerable open door that I have been given."
Elliott's suspension comes from abusive behavior at home affirmations made against him a year ago in Ohio. The Columbus city lawyer's office chosen last September that Elliott wouldn't confront charges.
The NFL, however, still has the expert to rebuff players under its own lead arrangement. The alliance refered to photos, therapeutic data and a huge number of electronic messages as proof to back its choice to suspend Elliott, who drove the NFL in surging in 2016.
Prior Friday, Elliott's delegates reacted to the news, saying the group's discoveries are "loaded with verifiable errors."
Elliott has 72 hours to offer the suspension, and he is required to do as such. He can play in preseason recreations and practice until Sept. 2, paying little respect to the result of the interest.
In the event that the suspension holds up, Elliott wouldn't be qualified to play in the customary season until Oct. 29 when the Cowboys play the Washington Redskins.
