A look at Snaps
A third way to install and manage applications in Linux - Snaps! The technology and store for Snaps is hosted by Canonical - the company behind Ubuntu - and Snaps have garnered a lot of adoption within the Linux community. Some feel they compete with Flatpaks, and in a sense they promise similar things, but the tool allows for more software to be available in Linux. More thoughts in the blog.
