Here, I give to you my heart.
This was my "graduation recital" before leaving the University of St. Thomas -- MN in May 2021.
Music is a wonderful platform for me to connect with others. The world was in deep turmoil, so I really wanted to use my arts to spread a healing message of hope. In addition, the recital was a thank-you to all the loveli, incredible people who gave me tremendous support and encouragement throughout my time there. It was also an attempt to capture the heterogeneous mixture of feelings I had as I know I must leave those people there for a while and continue on my journey. Furthermore, I would be very busy with scientific research and further studies at the next stop on my journey, so I knew it would be quite a long while before I get to prepare a full-fledged concert program like this. Thus, it was such an ultra-rare and invaluable opportunity to go all-in with the experimentation to see how crazy I could be with the purpose and ambition I envisioned for my arts.
I poured my heart into this, and got so much love back. I think that was what the waves told the firm coast too.
