1. So..., what do you do here? You CAN’T just walk into an interview knowing nothing about the position or company. ALWAYS, always do your research.
2. How much holiday will I get? Are there flexible hours? It’s one of your first conversations with the company where you might be spending your professional future at and the first thing you ask is about NOT being there, or being there as little as possible?
3. This job is great for my resume, it will open many doors for me. This could be an exact reason why you want the job. Because the role can be a great “resume builder”. But sharing this with your interviewer is not smart at all!
4. My greatest weakness is “Perfectionism”. This one really gets on my nerves. Whether you’ve come up with this yourself or whether you’ve been advised to say so, DON’T SAY IT! T
5. My boss and my company are horrible (or were horrible). No matter how bad your job, or your boss was, try to keep your tone somewhere between neutral and positive.
