A59 in Duisburg to be expanded
The A59 motorway between the Duisburg interchange and the Marxloh exit is to be widened to six to eight lanes. The expansion will be on an elevated section in Meiderich and in a cut-and-cover tunnel in Hamborn.
The city of Duisburg is calling for a tunnel/cover solution!
The Autobahn GmbH is responsible for the project.
