We’ve finally made it to Biarritz, and let’s just say — we totally fell in love with this place. 🇫🇷💙
From the beautiful beaches and historic buildings to the laid-back surf culture, Biarritz has everything we love in a coastal town. We only planned to stay a couple of days… but we ended up staying much longer than expected!
The west coast of France has been a dream, and this stop has been one of the biggest highlights. Being able to surf in so many incredible spots has made this leg of the trip unforgettable.

• 3+ years of full-time van life in our self-converted Ford Transit
• Travel companions: our two cats Tia & Skye (they’ve been to 10+ countries!)
• In 2024, we sold our van and now travel full-time from our Cornwall home base
• Exploring the world through road trips, overlanding, boutique stays, and more
