“FunK” is made from elements of the first music kit that was created at the BOOMlab to feed Humatic's Music Touch Table "MTT". The radio mix is not far from what 4 people experience when playing together live at the first public MTT [music touch table] in Germany’s biggest Science Center ‘experimenta’
The track works with typical funky grooves and melodies and german/ english vocals. Everything was processed in experimental machines making use of an HTML 5 /web audio based system especially developed by Humatic & Prof.Dr. Schnell (University of Furtwangen / IRCAM Centre Pompidou Paris).
The content team invented simple slogans that relate to the weightlessness and light-heartedness of young people’s musical creation process.
