Hi there again.
I am back with the world's first digital rangefinder camera - Epson R-D1.
It is a very unique and sort of rare digital camera with Leica M mount.
I have Leica Elmarit-M 28/f2.8 on there and the images I get from this combo are just amazing. The camera is super fun to use so I wanted to do sort of a first impression/quick introduction on it before I can do long term review.
Film photography enthusiasts, travel photographers, and anyone curious about classic cameras, this video dives into the (often unknown yet infamous) Epson R-D1 - a cult favorite. Whether you’re a film photographer transitioning to digital or a camera collector searching for hidden gems, this rangefinder offers a unique blend of vintage charm and modern functionality. From its Leica M-mount compatibility to its analog-inspired controls, the Epson R-D1 is a game-changer for photographers seeking a tactile, retro experience.
