turkey hunting in florida
This hunt was wild! Right as light was starting to crack, the birds were gobbling all around us. We got set up with a jake decoy and hid beneath a cypress tree. After they flew down the gobblers got quiet, but the hens started sounding off. I figured the toms would stay tight with their girls until later in the morning, but a group of four of them came running into the decoy and beat the crap out of it! Can't wait to share the whole hunt, butcher, and cook with you all.
