Newest Pyramid strings now fit S-U-B basses
New Pyramid bass uke strings are long enough to install on the Kala solid body S-U-B bass.
New 509 200 strings are wrapped 8 cm longer than the original 508 200 set, which would only fit the acoustic Kala U-Bass.
Riff in C played from 3rd string 3rd fret, 4th string 8th fret, 4th string 20th fret.
Recorded direct with no compression, bass control CW 1/4, treble full CCW.
These strings enabled me to modify the factory bridge to drop the action at the 12th fret to 2 mm.
Round wound silvered copper over nylon core, ball end.
Non-ferrous, non-magnetic, for use with piezo saddle pickups.
Feel, tone & sustain similar to traditional electric bass strings, as an alternative to the thick polyurethane factory strings.
