Silis is a music project originally started by Abel Hernandez and Nick Jones, and it now includes Mike Semesky and Anup Sastry. Abel and Nick started working on music together, and the initial intention was to hire Anup for drumming and mixing duties. As we started working on the song, we realized how easy and fun the process was, and it was something we wanted to continue.
We will continue writing music together whenever possible, under the name 'Silis'. Because the four of us are part of other bands/projects/endeavors, Silis is just a studio project, and it's an outlet for us to write together and enjoy the process.
We hope you like the first release, Avarice.
