Packin’ Heat: A 1944 P38 Holster
By 1944 the tide had started to turn for the Axis Forces. The homelands were being bombed, ground forces were losing ground causing Germany and Japan to look for faster and more cost effective ways of producing war materials. For the P 38 pistol this meant a move away from the earlier hard shell holster and a move toward this soft shell version.
