Extension roof: The Wall plate and Ridge Board Scarfing joint.
In this video part 4 we are breaking into the existing roof and placing the new wall plate and showing how it was done it. Also, in the video we are making a scarfing joint for the ridge board, this joint makes two shorter lengths of timber longer. This is useful if the length of ridge board needed exceeds 6 metres .
