Mad Clip (Panagiotis Peter Anastasopoulos), (New York, May 25, 1987 - Vouliagmeni) was a Greek-American trapper and businessman. He was a member of Capital Music having released many hits such as the song: Dealer, which was followed by many more hits such as: Hustla, Baby, Kilometers, Areti, Gucci, Conditions, MAMA, Yachts, Hope, May, Fimi and many more. From the beginning of his music career he kept the stage name Mad Clip, which comes from the initials "Money and Drugs, Can't Live in Poverty".
He was born in New York on May 25, 1987. He came from an expatriate family, with his mother being an immigrant from the 1950s. From 1999 on wards, he shared his life between Greece and America for many years, living in Paleo Faliro. , his father's place of residence. He lived in Greece permanently since 2016 where he became famous, despite his ambition to succeed abroad. Mad Clip expressed his preference for luxury living with expensive cars and clothes, both privately and in his songs. He was one of the most popular singers of recent years, with many of his songs high on the charts. It has been reported that due to his work, Mad Clip has contributed significantly to the rise of the popularity of music trap in Greece. as well as was a source of inspiration for him.
Mad Clip was killed after a car accident on September 2, 2021, two am in the morning, in Athens on Faneromeni avenue in Vouliagmeni (Greece,Athens). According to reports, he was driving at high speed and lost control of the car.
In February of the same year, while driving, he had refused to stop at a police signal, resulting in a high-speed pursuit during which he committed a number of offenses, including disobedience to the authorities and four red light violations. No charges were brought against him and he was released the next day. His death affected many of his singers and fans, some of whom left flowers at the scene of the accident. The circumstances in which the accident took place are the subject of an investigation by the competent authorities, which did not rule out the involvement of a second vehicle in this accident.
