Over the years I have owned, operated, and trained with the latest and greatest gimbal technology available. Beginning back with the DJI Ronin 1 when gimbals were a breakthrough technology on the filmmaking scene I began learning not only how to master using the devices themselves, but how to use them in the filmmaking process to achieve creative goals.
While not every shot requires a moving camera, knowing how to move the camera to improve storytelling is key. A skillfully executed gimbal shot can elevate your production value and connect with your audience on a deeper subconscious level. Plus...they usually look pretty cool!
