Simón wrote “Lost and Found” in 2021 after reckoning with what the COVID-19 pandemic had revealed about ourselves and our world. Channeling fear, rage, and a desire for liberation into artistry, Simón created this anthem of grief, gratitude, and resistance. Despite being performed with minimal instrumentation, the raw material stands powerfully on its own, making it a rousing and evocative piece.
