NDE Hell: A Warning to the World
Not a typical NDE. Like the vision of hell given to the children at Fatima in 1917, St. Faustina Kowalska's vision in 1938 was a mystical experience from God to remind the world of the reality of the consequence of sin. Jesus Himself in the Gospels warned time and time again about the dangers of falling from grace and losing one's soul. Many today scoff at the possibility of a hell or the existence of Satan or a myriad of fallen angels who seek the damnation of souls. But existence is more incredible than one could possibly imagine, thus God reveals glimpses of the spiritual realm to remind souls that life on earth is a pilgrimage of sanctification.
The First Commandment of our existence is to love God above all things; thus the first step to loving God is to repent and turn away from sin, because sin is an offense against God.
