AAAAA finally I present to you an Iris West-Allen edit!! I will say, all week I’ve been struggling to find a perfect song to do for Iris (honestly been struggling for years) bc idk I wanted something powerful but also to describe how she felt this episode… it’s funny bc I ended up just making it emotional LOL. I remembered this song so I was like “screw it we’re gonna make this depressing but then have it inspiring at the end” and then boom this was made. Not really the powerful vibe I always wanted when making an Iris video but hopefully impactful? Bc with this one I wanted to showcase everything she’s been through and the internal struggle she’s been having lately about her future and then see her overcoming those fears at the end. So yuh :D
Also this is veryyyy simple bc I literally squeezed this edit in during the busiest I’ve been this semester (might be behind on some work hahahaha) so if it the ending seems rushed I sorry about that! There was gonna be more but I knew I didn’t have the time and plus the next episode premieres tomorrow and I already know it’s gonna be full of westallen content!! But getting an Iris West-Allen edit out here was important to me bc it was my goal to have one before the series ended and now it’s accomplished!!
BUT I EDITED THIS IN 4 HOURS?? WHAT. That is literally the fastest I’ve edited a full video hands DOWN. The power of Mrs. West-Allen!!
But yeah, I literally loved this episode. It was so fun seeing Iris going through her dreams and it basically being a trial for her and help her accept her future AND the fact that she still has a choice in it. She literally deserves the world and I hope the writers keep having her find her happiness and that she RECEIVES happiness and KEEPS it!
Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this! Hopefully I’ll continue to make more centric Iris edits even after the show ends!!
