Solidworks Solid Part to STEP File
In this video, I step through saving a Solidworks 2021 Solid Part as a STEP file, and then open the file in Mastercam 2021. Although I am still using Solidworks 2021, the lab computers that my Manufacturing Engineering class utilizes have Solidworks 2022 loaded, and we cannot seem to open a Solidworks 2022 solid part file directly in Mastercam 2021. This video presents a potential workaround, and also shows what chaining option to choose for the 3D model in Mastercam.
