This video (apologies for the quality) has been made by R.A.B.I.E.S (Ringwould Against Bottling plant In Environmentally Sensitive area), an action group opposing the planning application by Kingsdown Water to develop land occupied by Ringwould Alpines, a small plant centre on the A258, Dover Road, Ringwould. The plans are to develop 3 acres of a 7+ acre site, within the Kent Downs designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ringwould is a small Kent village between Deal and Dover which can trace it's origins back to Saxon times and there is a Saxon burial site within the proposed development area.
