NEW 2025 KTM 1490 Super Adventure⁉️ 7 New KTM Models in 2025‼️
The new generation of the 2025 KTM Super Adventure comes in three versions: 1390 Rally, 1390 S, and 1490, also with an AMT automatic transmission.
👉It seems that the Rally version, the most off-road-oriented of the maxi with its 21"-18" wheelset, appears in this configuration with a minimal windshield, high fender, and vertical display, reminiscent of old-fashioned roadbooks.
👉However, the heavily camouflaged AMT lettering on the bike makes no secret of its appearance. This appears to be KTM's new automatic transmission system, as evidenced by the absence of a clutch lever and the presence of a foot shifter.
👉On the other hand, BMW recently unveiled its ASA (Automated Shift Assistant), and the Mattighofen-based manufacturer is adding more fuel to the fire for the 2025 maxi adventure bikes.
👉MORE OFFROAD Perhaps the biggest surprise is the rumored arrival of an even more off-road-focused bike in the 2025 lineup. It features a 21-inch knobby wheel, a long, flat seat, less extensive bodywork, and a strongly vertical design, with a black plexiglass screen concealing a vertically positioned TFT screen. Engine upgrade aside, the 1390 Rally recalls the historic Dakar 990 Adventure in its silhouette and, perhaps, in its intentions. The big news seems to stop there, as the frame, swingarm, and tank appear to come from the current 1290 Super Adventure range.
Then there's this one, a giant Super Adventure, perhaps a 1490, with abundant bodywork but, most importantly, the first with a 17" front wheel.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak-RS features a supercharged engine and a chassis more geared toward asphalt: a 100% road-oriented front end and an engine that likely grows beyond 1400 cc and 180 hp for even more exaggerated performance (and in fact, Brembo Stylema calipers are also arriving at the front).
In October, KTM will keep these new models secret; we'll see.
