Hi, my name is Calvin and for 5 years, I worked in a cancer lab at Cambridge University managing data for clinical trials studying oesophageal cancer. Prior to that, I worked at a startup developing software used by Genomics England to analyse DNA of patients with rare diseases. And before that, I was with the PHG Foundation, a think tank focusing on genomics in healthcare.
In this channel, I look at the application of genetics in cancer and medicine, in an effort to understand how far we’ve come in detecting, treating and even predicting cancer in individuals but also in populations.
