Canadian recording artist MILLIMETRIK releases his first radio hit single, “APOCA-LIPS”, featuring LIANA. Liana has been known for her fiery performances at “The Voice” in Montreal, Canada. The single is a cocktail of skillfully refreshing pop electro music with a summer flavor. For over a decade, Millimetrik has been exploring the twists and turns of electronic music through an impressive catalog of releases, leading him to deliver his tenth most surprising and upbeat work to date, Sun-drenched.
When we revisit the prolific career of Quebec’s electronic scene’s veteran, we see that he constantly seeks to reinvent himself through different concepts fueled by his numerous travels, his love of photography, and cinema. The sounds that span through the 18 years of his musical career evoke a broad musical landscape ranging from ambient, trip-hop and now more into house, disco, soul and dance music.
The Quebec City native is the Felix award winner for best electronic album at the ADISQ gala in 2019 for his work on Make it Last Forever. In 2014, he won the GAMIQ award for best album in electronic music for his album Lonely Lights. Millimetrik has also performed on the stages of the Osheaga festival, the FEQ, the FME, Mutek and the Brussels Electronic Music Festival, among others.
