FPS comparison of Optifine and Sodium in Minecraft 1.20.1 Java Edition in 2023. In this benchmark, I used the same (or nearly identical) settings for sodium and optifine.I used 32 chunks of render distance in Minecraft to test the performance of optifine and sodium, as well as shaders, world generation, work creation time, and normal walking perforamance comparison. Additionally, I ran fresh installations of Minecraft on an SSD for both Minecraft Optifine and Sodium. The Shaders I used: Minecraft Complementary Reimagined Shaders
