Green Lantern Intro Sequence Remake "Legend"
This is a CG remake of the Green Lantern movie intro title sequence done by the awesome post house "yU+co". Obviously there are a few differences, if you have seen any of my previous Tron videos you know that I don't try to make it look perfectly like the movie, I always try to put in my own design tweaks in the interest of faster renders :)
3D Elements (planets, Green Lantern titles and lantern logo, and camera motion) were done in Cinema 4D. All other visual elements done in After Effects CS5. No fonts were used, the titles were designed straight from the Movie titles using splines.
The light trails were animated in Cinema 4D and then brought into After Effects. I used Andrew Kramer's Optical Flares and Trapcode's Particular to get the flares and the light trails (just like the Tron intro)
