The portable Sangean DT-400W makes a great AM FM Stereo Public Alert Pocket Radio. The Daytime reception is fantastic! No interference from the Display, and distant stations are obtainable. I love the versatility of this receiver.

Overall, I recommend this radio if you can find it. The LCD Display is extremely easy to read, tuning is a breeze, and reception is Tops! If you can't find it the DT-200X is a great, low cost alternative.
