Eton FR-250 Emergency Shortwave Radio Daytime AM Chicago Area
The Eton FR-250 AM FM Shortwave Emergency Portable Radio can be had for a Reasonable Price, sometimes New in the Box! Is it worth buying a 2005 Radio in 2024 and Beyond? Yes! The Eton FR Series are well made. Tecsun made the internals for Eton, so that is probably why they have lasted over the years. During this Daytime AM Band Scan, I employ the Terk Advantage Passive Loop to help bring in those distant stations with ease, and also to clarify semi-local ones as well. Tuning the AM band with a Great Analog Receiver is the way to do it :)
