YAKE! Keyword Extraction
YAKE! Keyword Extractor (http://yake.inesctec.pt) won the Best Short Paper of ECIR’18 and is the basis of our awarded project for news timeline generation, Conta-me Histórias (http://contamehistorias.pt), which was the winner of the first edition of the Arquivo.pt 2018 contest (note: a version of Conta-me Histórias on top of the Signal Media dataset is available under the TimeScoop URL (http://nlplab.inesctec.pt/timescoop)).
Experimental results carried out on top of twenty datasets show that YAKE!, significantly outperform state-of-the-art methods under a number of collections of different sizes, languages or domains. YAKE! provides a Python package (https://github.com/LIAAD/yake) and an API which are free to be used by the research community.
