GoogleEarth Place Marks into Civil3D.
In This video, I'm showing the method for export Google earth points into Civil 3D by using Excel sheet. Apart from this you will learn following things from this video.
Google Earth
• Add Place mark in Google Earth and Organize in Folder.
• Selected Google earth Points Save as “.kml“ format (which can be open in Excel).
• Finding Coordinate system Zone code
MS Excel
• Split Excel cells in deferent columns by using “Text to Columns”.
• Increase Decimal numbers
Civil 3D
• Set drawing Coordinate system (UTM-WGS84)
• Add Zone (Coordinate system code) from Google earth.
• Import Points from file and create it’s style.
• Create Point Group.
• Change Point group style.
• Adjust Labels size.
Note:
Please change "Longitude" and "Latitude" to "DECDEG Longitude" and "DECDEG Latitude" in Civil 3D point file format so all the decimal points will be added.
