Home of the highest altitude Oktoberfest and Maifest in North America. Oktoberfest in May? YEP! Well, sort of…the 2nd Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest is the little sister to the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest and, while Maifest is on a much smaller scale than her big sister Oktoberfest, there is one thing for certain and that is Maifest packs a big punch!
Located in the mountain town of Big Bear Lake, our quaint celebration has always been based on the lore of the world’s original Oktoberfest and Maifest. Over the years, the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest and Maifest have become world renown for its own traditions and old-world ambience, celebrating friends, family and good times. A festival like no other, guests are treated to authentic German entertainment; feast on Brats and Knockwursts direct from the German butcher; and enjoy the very same beers poured at Munich’s Oktoberfest and Maifest for more than 150 years!

A COMPLIMENTARY “Take Home” shuttle will be available both Saturday and Sunday evenings, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The shuttle will take you door-to-door within the Big Bear Valley and will continue through 11:30 p.m.
Looking for a ride to Maifest? Dial-a-ride is available for only $5.00 per person. To reserve, please call 909-878-5200. It is recommended that you make advance reservations for Dial-a-Ride service – at least one day in advance.

When the mountain stirs up your appetite Maifest features a variety of German and American favorites. From Brats to Burgers, Pomfritz (French Fries), to Street Tacos.
NEW AND SPECIALLY CREATED FOR MAIFEST – The Meister Brat Burger – a meal in itself!
A black angus, hand formed burger topped with swiss cheese, sauerkraut, an entire Brat, pickles, grilled onions and our homemade creamy Dijon Mustard Aioli all served on a pretzel as the bun.
The Munich Grill, located at the outside Wyatt’s Beer Garten, offers Brats and a variety of sausages fresh off the grill, as well as sauerkraut, pomfritz, strudel, and street tacos.
Also offered outdoors: pretzels, churros, kettle korn and roasted nuts.
Wyatt’s is known for some of the best burgers in Big Bear! Head indoors for a variety of Wyatt’s Grill and Saloon favorites from Burgers, to Salads, to Lettuce Wraps and Flatbreads. And, now featuring for our Vegan friends, the new Impossible Vegan burger! Inside meal service also includes Brats, Sauerkraut, Strudel and Pretzels!
