Pupils in EYFS and Year 1 had their own special Prize Giving this morning as the annual ceremony at the Albert Hall in October takes place a little too late in the evening for our younger pupils.
In Nursery and Reception, we have been learning all about life cycles. We had tadpoles that turned into frogs, we're growing tomatoes and we have caterpillars in the classroom which will turn into butterflies. In the Prize Giving assembly, pupils performed songs about the lifecycle of a butterfly in front of parents and teachers.
Year 1 performed Julia Donaldson's 'Room on the Broom', told Nursery and Reception some of their favourite things they've learnt or done in Year 1 and then sang 'You've Got a Friend in Me'.
Well done to all pupils for a fantastic year. Our pupils fill us with so much joy. We hope the Prize Giving assembly and award ceremony this morning showcased how much we appreciate the hard work of the children and all the fun that has taken place.
