How Do Bullets?
One description of handling a weapon I've appreciated is "firearms are a spellbook and every person their own wizard, there's some general rules we all follow, rules for the book itself, and your own magic to account for." Well, if you're going to know the spellbook, it would help to study the pieces.
And if you're trying to get up to speed with how to handle firearms, you should ALSO be learning about the pieces around them. Ammunition is one of those pieces that have so many myths and misconceptions around how they fundamentally work and why we got to our choices with modern bullets. So I put this together as a primer on both function and history.
