Genshin Impact Fish IN REAL LIFE
I'm Plompyyy, a fisheries student playing Genshin Impact in my free time. This video idea started when I played the game and noticed various organisms existing in Teyvat's aquatic environment. I wanted to try identifying the real-life versions of these organisms, because why not? It seemed fun! (P.S. It's actually not)
I also invited my bestie @Chevrotain, who’s also my classmate, to help me with this video. Overall, it was a fun and STRESSFUL experience (lmao) trying to identify these organisms. I am actually surprised at how some of these aquatic flora and fauna have very similar real-life versions, especially the crabs. Not only that, Hoyoverse also cleverly incorporated bioluminescent algal blooms in the environmental design of Inazuma, which made Tatarasuna’s beaches look very magical.
