Mastering flat frames, or:
(how I learned to stop worrying and love taking flat frames)
Taking flat frames is easier than it seems with an ASIAIR! While some use a white T-shirt stretched over their telescope, I’ll show you a simple, budget-friendly method to capture consistent flat frames that will last for months!
This is a SUPER high level look at flat frames. No flowcharts, no circles & arrows. So simple it's probably wrong! Plenty of others out there that do a much better job out there. But when you start out, you just need a simple answer not an in depth look! In my journey, I avoided taking flat frames because I just was not sure how to go about getting the right white t-shirt, use a computer monitor or the twilight sky. With my easy solution, you can use your ASIAIR to get perfect flat frames. The ASIAIR does most of the work!
