Images are a common form of data in many fields of science, technology and business. In this webinar I will introduce dash-canvas, an interactive tool for annotating images and objects with various kinds of markers. I will then explain how to use these annotations for several image processing tasks such as region selection, objects segmentation, or post-processing. Finally, we'll see how the Dash ecosystem can accelerate your image processing workflow, with components for parameter selection of algorithms or visualization of image statistic.
Emma collaborates with the Dash team to develop image processing and visualization within Dash. She is a core developer of Python's scikit-image, a toolkit for image processing in science. She holds a PhD in physics from Sorbonne Université (Paris) and leads a research lab in materials science. Her research is based on imaging techniques and quantitative image processing.
