End of year Real Estate update | Orange County | 2024 Predictions
Briefly discussing what has happened with the housing market here in Orange County and how I think it might play out next year.
Buyer demand has been falling off a cliff, but house prices have not. This is due to inventory being at record lows and higher mortgage rates pricing buyers out of the market. Surprisingly home prices are actually more expensive than 2022, but only at certain price points. Luxury real estate has been dropping substantially and condos/townhomes/lower priced single family homes are higher than 2022.
