The school system is designed to keep you broke forever. They teach you that failing is bad, you learn that you should avoid failing because it's bad. This is the exactly opposite of what you should be taught. You should be taught that you have to try things and fail to learn. The people teaching you how to start a business has never created a successful business so how are they supposed to teach you how to start a successful business?
