The biggest snake of the world was recently found in Kutch, Gujrat. Inside Lignite Mine some Palaeontologists(Who does the exploration of unexplored sites) & researchers from IIT Roorkee were researching on some remains which were found to be 40 Million Years ago. Initially they thought it to be the remains of a crocodile but later they came to know it was the remains of Snake.
The length of this snake is said to be 15 metre + which is more than the current largest snake Titanoboa 14 metre. The researchers have named this snake as "Vasuki Indicus" because Lord Shiva's snake was "Vasuki" and "Indicus" is because it is found in India. This is not just India but even in Chinese and Japanese cultures it is said the holy dragon which is a big giant snake was roaming in the Asian Subcontinent.
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has not yet started digging our land aggressively; once they do, we never know how many such secrets are buried under the Bharatiya land.
