The Model Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13
We so often call Matthew 6:13 the Lord’s Prayer when to me this is the Model that Jesus used to teach His disciples to pray. John 17 to me is “Lord’s Prayer”. This is where Jesus prays to the Father for himself, his inner circle of Disciples and the rest of the world.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us, lead us not into temptation,
but deliver, deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen!
