NEW Madi Paidi Hotel Bangkok, FIRST Autograph Collection Hotel in Thailand
Madi Paidi is the NEW hotel opened under the Marriott portfolio and is the first Autograph collection hotel in all of Thailand!
It opened its doors in September 2023 and is considered a boutique hotel, offering 56 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel is only 3 to 5 minutes walk from the nearest BTS station, Thong Lor and just 1 street/block over from the main Thong Lor street (Soi 55) where you have lots of entertainment options, bars and restaurants.
The hotel has 9 floors and the staff are extremely friendly! I observed them making an effort to recognising various guests as they enter or leave the hotel calling them by name! This is a nice personal touch.
I booked a standard room with a king bed. However, I was lucky to be upgraded to their Emerald Suite! For reference, I am a member of the Marriott Loyalty programme called Marriott Bonvoy and I hold Ambassador status. Check out the vid on You Tube at Love Flying and Hotels. Apart from the room upgrade, elite members can also receive more benefits.
As an Ambassador member, I received complimentary breakfast, 2 pieces of laundry per night, a welcome drink and a further welcome amenity in the room!
I also received complimentary drinks and a snack daily. If the snack is not suitable for you, speak to the staff and explain your dietary requirements. They provided me with snacks which were suitable for vegetarians.
These benefits are also available to elite members holding a Titanium or Platinum status.
The Suite was very comfortable and spacious. The Suite was 56 SQMs or 603 SQ Ft.
There was a bath tub, walk-in shower with rain shower, bathroom amenities, bathrobes, slippers and more.
When I arrived for breakfast, I received the warmest welcome – you have to see it! Tong, the host, is very sweet and always checked on me if I was okay as did Mook, Non, Oil and Speck.
During the afternoon, I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and enjoyed chatting with the staff, in particular, Non, Sunshine, Lecky, Noon, Kai Mook, Kig, Mook, Art and Time.
I spent 2 nights and then had a booking with another hotel for 2 nights. I enjoyed my stay so much that, after completing the 2 nights at the other hotel, I returned here for a further 5 nights!
I also met many knew staff members on my return and they all spent time talking with me either in the lobby area or at the bar! I felt very humbled and really enjoyed this experience.
On leaving, several staff members came outside, waving me off, which is what Paidi in the name Madi Paidi effectively resembles!
I recommend you try the hotel as I am sure you will also receive excellent service and enjoy your stay. This is certainly one of the better hotels!
