Hoggetowne 2024 Living Chessboard - Board 3
The daughter of the Sheriff of Nottingham, Lucina de Notte, is trying to bring hope back to Hoggetowne after years of oppression under the tyrannical King John II. To do so, she'll have to find the ghosts of old legends, forge new bonds, and convince some nobles that maybe - just maybe - doing what is right is much more important than doing what it easy.
During Board 3, the combined forces of Lucina and Les Routiers (a mercenary group of some of Europe's greatest fighters who supported Lucina from the start), Robin Hood and some former Merry Men, and defecting nobles such as Lord Ivanhoe, William Marshall, and the Emerald Islanders (proud Irishmen thoroughly unimpressed with the antics of John and Dame Guy). Together, this united kingdom has one goal: Forcing John to sign the Magna Carta, ushering in a new era of justice to the realm.
