I do not give out locations so please don't ask as this protects the locations from vandals and thieves. I always document what i see in realtime so you the viewer can experience what i experience whilst on these explores.

Yo whats good guys, today I take you to an abandoned raceway. This raceway opened in 1973 and the track was built on the runway of RAF Long Marston which hosted drag racing events since the early 1970s.

In the 1990s, This raceway was renamed Avon Park Raceway and advertised as "Spectacular drag racing for cars and bikes at the fastest track outside the USA" in 2008 this raceway finally became Shakespeare raceway.

The Shakespeare raceway was named after William Shakespeare and it closed down and was sold in 2018 to make way for a new housing estate. It’s now 2025 and the housing estate is growing on a daily basis so I can imagine that this raceway will be gone very soon.

When I was walking around this place, you can still see the race strip, the medical room, the bar, the stands and also loads of other areas. We also took a walk around the nearby caravan park and garages. We found some smashed up caravans and loads of old cars just piled up around the side of the garage.

Overall this was a good explore and I fully enjoyed walking around a bit of history. It was a shame that it was too windy to get the drone up on this one so hopefully I get to go back and get some drone shots of this place before it disappears.

Thanks for looking 😎
