-How to Screen Adults for Sex Offenses
Not all sex offender threats live near your family, and yet a registered offender may still have access to a family member. In this short "how to" video we'll demonstrate how to screen adults with sex offenses that have access to your family members through social groups, school, sports, and other group encounters.
After logging into your Kids Live Safe Account, click on "Offender Search" in the top navigation.
Using the "Search By Name" field on the left, enter the first and last names of adults that have access to your family members, and click "Go."
You will then be presented with a map and list of sex offenders with that name.
Enter the names of coaches, tutors, childcare providers, or any other adult that has access to your family members.
And like all sex offender results, you can click the "Map Offender" button beneath an offender's profile to see their precise location on the map.
Use the name search tool on the left to search for as many names as needed. There are no limitations.
The Name Search feature is an effective tool to protect your family. Use it whenever you feel the need to verify that an adult with access to your family is not a sex offender.
