Discover Hidden Gems-the Roman Appian Way on E-Bikes
➡️We go for an e-bike ride in Rome, Italy, on the Appian Way, or Via Appia Antica. Built in 312 BC, it was Rome's first highway. It is a bicycle ride to get out of the busy city of Rome to a quiet part of town and visit one of the most famous roads in Europe.
Now it is a historic park to bike, walk, or hike and see the amazing history of how the Romans lived.
We bicycle and see hundreds of ruins and historical sites, catacombs, the Villa of Maxentius, the Tomb of Cecilia Metella, the Villa dei Quintili, and more. We rent electric Mountain bikes from a bike shop right off the Appia Antica-ECO BIKES. This is an entertaining and amazing, self-guided bike tour. It goes to roadside attractions, historical places, weird worlds, and unusual sites. Come travel with us on this fun bike video!
All roads lead to Rome, at least this one did in 312 BC.
